Join me for a Q&A call on April 9!
Paid members are welcome to call in and share what you like and what you'd like to see improve at The Edge
Greetings!
At 11AM this Thursday, April 9, join me, Whitney McKnight, founder and publisher of your local community news outlet, The Edge, for a Zoom Q & A event. As part of this call for paying subscribers only, we'll be participating in the first annual Local News Day to be held nationwide. You can hop on or off the call anytime between 11AM and noon.
According to the nonprofit journalism project, Press Forward, Americans overwhelmingly say that local news and information is the most important and most trusted source they rely on for what they need to know. Geared to help millions across America to connect or even reconnect with their respective local news outlet, the emphasis of Local News Day is on how community-driven news strengthens our communities, keeps us informed, and holds leaders accountable.
In our call, I'd like to share my triumphs and struggles bringing you reliable, timely news, as well as hear from you what you're enjoying about The Edge, and where you think there is room for improvement.
I'm excited to hear from you! If you're not yet a paying subscriber of The Edge, there is a special rate available now through Tax Day, April 15. Consider becoming a paying member of the community, and join us for our call this Thursday.
Here's the Zoom link once again for this Thursday at 11 AM:
Really looking forward to hanging out with you for an hour on Thursday!
Whitney
