Greetings, Friends.

There are nine candidates in the race for Kentucky's 6th Congressional District, and six of them have been On The Edge, our podcast here. I ran the interview with Zach Dembo (D) a month ago, but now that most candidates have come in, I will start posting them regularly. For those of you who missed Dembo, I can re-run it, so to speak.

I've really been impressed with our slate of candidates, and think we should consider ourselves lucky to have so many strong ones, both Republican and Democrat. I'm hesitant to comment on who I think should be the frontrunners, since I find editorial boards endorsing candidates to be problematic–not wrong, necessarily, but it can encourage people not to do their own research, and I don't want to think for anyone. When the podcasts are released beginning this week, I think you will have ample information for making your choices.

But maybe the following observations are interesting.
